ElizaBeth De Maagd founded De Maagd Communications (formerly De Maagd Consulting) in 2010, driven by her passion for providing fact-based information across industries. With expertise in public relations and STEM education, she has built a strong reputation working with clients in energy, environmental, technology, education, nonprofit, government agencies, and Fortune 500 sectors.

An award-winning PR professional, ElizaBeth has extensive experience coaching C-level executives on media relations, thought leadership, change management, and political strategy. For over five years, she led communications and government affairs for the North American Coalbed Methane Forum. ElizaBeth is also active in organizations like the Women’s Energy Network and Slippery Rock University’s Petroleum Engineering Department.

Her accolades include the Pittsburgh Business Times Energy Leadership Award, the Mayor Bob O'Connor Sustainability Award, the Women’s Energy Network “Women on the Move” PR energy advocacy recognition, and the Mister Rogers Good Neighbor Award for a foster care community project.
One of her unique experiences includes working as a Talent Agent in Beverly Hills and a publicist, which has seamlessly translated into her ability to brand CEOs as the face of their companies. As a trained Executive Thought Leadership Coach, ElizaBeth helps business owners, CEOs, and speakers build their media presence, reputation, and leadership visibility, with a focus on empowering women through strategic campaigns and public relations services.
